Who has ever thought about doing a reset of his stats MW2, whether for pleasure, to sell it or another ...

He drags it to a multitude of cracks on the net, but do use them in any way. Why?

Firstly because half are false, all you have earned it make you hack your account steam, and then, as if the version is too old, the VAC (system check valve cheat) that you may block your game, having detected the cheat software.

That's why I created this trick, because there is indeed a method that allows you to reset your stats without outside programs, and therefore no risk to your account.

You're ready to say goodbye to your level? Here we go ...

Open Steam, but not the game

If you kept the default location for steam, go to the following folder:

C: Program Files Steam userdata xxxxxxxx (the x's represent numbers) or C: Program Files (x86) Steam userdata xxxxxxxx (the x's represent numbers)

The first if your system is 32bit, the second if your system is 64bit.

Then delete the files found inside, usually numbering two or three.

Then go to the following directory:

C: Program Files Steam SteamApps common call of duty modern warfare 2 players or C: Program Files (x86) Steam SteamApps common call of duty modern warfare 2 players

Delete all files . stats, attention, not the other! (If ever you make a mistake, remember to restore from the recycle bin)

Then run the multiplayer Modern Warfare 2 you should be returned to the prestige 0 Level 1. To save changes to the profile, you will have to play a game.

Once this part is finished, just exit the game normally.
