The Pixel 4 XL has only been out for just over a month, but thanks to the proximity of Black Friday to launch day it’s now available at a bargain price far sooner than you’d expect. Priced at £829 just a month ago, you can now get the 64GB Pixel 4 XL in white, black or orange for £37 per month with no upfront cost . For that you get 60GB of data, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts via Vodafone, PLUS a free Nest Home Hub for a total cost of £888.01 over the course of your two-year contract. NOTE : It’s not the similar O2 deal at the top of the page – that one has an upfront cost of £99. Scroll down to the one below on Vodafone for the best value option. That’d be good even without the rather good Nest Home Hub (RRP: £120), but with it, it’s very hard to ignore. Especially as the Google Pixel 4 XL adds a 37% larger battery than the regular Pixel 4. So what did we make of it overall? “Tally up the changes, and it looks like the Google Pixel 4 XL is the worthwhile upgrade to last year’s Pixel 3 XL we were hoping for,” Nathan wrote in our review. “The new additions such as the secondary camera and radar-sensing chip might not be as profound an improvement as prospective buyers might have hoped for, but there’s plenty to like about the Pixel 4 XL and its smaller brother.” There are reasons to hold back, though: even with the 3,700mAh battery, stamina is still weak compared to other Android rivals, and the lack of fingerprint sensor is a serious issue – especially if you routinely check banking apps (hola fellow freelancers!) But there are reasons some people only buy Pixels, and if you care about getting the latest version of Android on day one, there really is no other choice. And at this price, you’re certainly getting a bargain. Buy now from Mobiles.co.uk
