Issue

I've been my Mac for almost 2 years now and encountered no major issue, except that the Terminal is taking to much time to launch.

Are there any solution to speed it up.

Solution

You should try to delete the Apple System Logs,as over time this file tends to become larger and larger, causing slow-downs.

First open a terminal and type: cd /private/var/log/asl/

Type the following command to list all the .asl files (log)
